LIMA – More than 200 faithful friends of Samaritan House, two dueling pianists, food from Panera Bread, 100 silent auction items and one beloved emcee is what makes the Raisin’ Bread Celebration & Fundraiser an evening to remember.
The event is to support the Lima Samaritan House, a local shelter for homeless and/or abused women and children. This year marks twenty-nine years of serving Lima and the surrounding community.
This year’s event will be held in the Banquet Room at City Club located at 144 S. Main Street in Lima on Wednesday, August 17. The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and food will be provided throughout the evening by Panera Bread.
A silent auction will also be held from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Dueling pianos will make this event a night to remember. Pianists from Aces Wild will entertain with favorite songs from the 60’s to the present. Jeff Fitzgerald will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

Ticket sales are limited. This was a sold out event last Samaritan House is a three-story, thirty-eight room facility including seventeen bedrooms. The program provides shelter, hope and guidance to three-hundred unduplicated women and children in an average year and more than 20,000 meals.
