Lima UMADAOP to hold grand openings

UMADAOP new offices, new services and more assistance to the community

LIMA – Lima Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program Inc. will be holding three separate events the week of June 13.

On Monday, June 13, Lima UMADAOP will be holding a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of their new office located at 311 East Market Street. There will be an open house from 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. with the ribbon cutting at 12:30 p.m.

The Georgia Newsome Home for Women and Children will celebrate their grand opening on Wednesday, June 15th from 12pm-4pm. There will be a special presentation beginning at 12:45 p.m. The home is located at 428 Jameson Ave. This is the first program to assist mothers’ in addiction while keeping connected to their children.

Finally on Friday, June 17th from 10am-2pm will unveil the Prevention Wellness and Education Center at 809 West Vine Street – the former UMADAOP offices. This facility will allow Lima UMADAOP to take the prevention services to new heights with a more youth friendly facility. There will be a special presentation at 11 a.m.

Lima UMADAOP works hard to build strong and lasting fruitful relationships with the efforts to serve and improve families and the community. Lima UMADAOP where children and families come first.
