LIMA – Applications are now available for St. Rita’s Health Partners 2016 Volunteen Program. Volunteens are high school students between 14–18 years old who volunteer a minimum of 40 hours over the summer to assist in a variety of needs in St. Rita’s medical facilities. The program offers an opportunity to preview careers in the healthcare field.
Volunteens could perform a variety of services during their time at St. Rita’s, including: research projects, patient transport, clerical/administrative duties, stocking supplies, grounds keeping, creative projects, and much more. Volunteens will gain work experience and educational opportunities (tours and hands-on learning). Participating in the program also helps to enhance college and scholarship applications and help teens with making career decisions in the future.
The application can be found online at stritas.org > Employment > Volunteering > 2016 Summer Volunteen Application Packet (direct link here). Applications will be accepted until March 11, 2016. Teens interested in participating in St. Rita’s 2016 Volunteen Program should see the application packet for a full list of requirements, specific directions for applying and a detailed timeline for the program.
Questions about the program should be directed to Sarah Fusillo at email@example.com or 419-226-9461.
